Algeria: Industrial CSR – Emissions Reduction & Responsible Supply Chains
Algeria occupies a distinctive position as a major hydrocarbon producer and a country with growing industrial diversity. The energy and industrial sectors — oil and gas, petrochemicals, cement, steel, mining, and agri-food processing — are central to national GDP and export revenues. Those same sectors account for the bulk of national greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impacts, which places corporate social responsibility (CSR) at the center of any credible low-carbon transition.
